5.Anant Muskaan Project is implemented in the school
6.The Mathrubhumi Seed Club of Thevakkal Vidyodaya School launched the Nakshatra Vanam project on 11th June 2024. The students collected saplings of 27 Nakshatra species including Nelli, Njaval, Mula, Peral, Ambazham, Koovalam, Plavu and Erik from their homes. The Seed Club members also took the initiative to implementthe Nakshatra Vanam project at Thevakkal Government High School
7.On Thursday, June 26, Vidyodaya School observed International Anti-Drug Day with a series of awareness initiatives led by the Seed Club. The school assembly highlighted the value of a drug-free life, and students collectively took a pledge to stay away from drugs.
A rally was conducted with students raising slogans to spread the message against drug abuse. In association with Mathrubhumi Seed, thought-provoking anti-drug messages were written on sticky notes as part of the “Stick on to Life” campaign and displayed around the campus.

11.Vidyodaya School has won the 2025 Kissaps Green School Award organized by St. Anthony’s Public School, Kizhakkambalam, recognizing schools that demonstrate commitment to sustainability and environmental protection in the face of global warming. Vidyodaya was selected from around 100 schools that participated in the competition based on several factors including nature conservation, water conservation, energy conservation, biodiversity, etc. At the award ceremony held at St. Anthony’s Public School, Kizhakkambalam on Saturday, June 21, the SEED coordinators received the award from Dr. V. Subhash Chandra Bose, an ecologist and former director of the Kerala Water Resources Department.

16.Mentoring session on Robotics Mr. Sunil Paul, CEO of Shrishti Robotics , Director of Christ Center for Innovation and Learning conducted a mentoring session on Robotics. 13 students attended the session
17.ATL Mega Tinkering Day 0 students from class VI to IX participated, The main activity involved building a simple vacuum cleaner using a DC motor, switch, battery, propeller, and basic materials. Students learned about air pressure, motor operation, and circuit connections through hands-on experience. The event encouraged creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
18.EMPNEO 9.0 The Empneo 9.0 Workshop was held at Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, on August 9–10, 2025, focusing on teaching future skills to children. The Harry Potter-themed camp included four workshops: Discrete Electronics, 3D Printing and Designing, App Development using AI, and Web Development. 3 students participated, Students also went on an industrial visit to Terarobots, where they explored VR games, robot football, and console gaming. Overall, the workshop was a fun and educational experience, supported by MEC volunteers and faculty.
19.Ormathudippukal the 35th year of vidyodaya was celebrated on 24/8/25 Sunday.
20.As part of the VIGOURR Club activities, a Road Safety awareness session was conducted by Ms. Divya M. S., Assistant Professor, SCMS School of Engineering and Technology. The session was based on the topic “Road Signs – The Language of Safety, Being Humane on Roads.”
Ms. Divya explained the importance of road signs as a universal language for safe traffic movement and stressed the value of patience, empathy, and responsibility while using the roads. The session was interactive and insightful, helping students to clearly understand traffic signs and inspiring them to practice safe road habits.
21.Vidyodaya School organized Ormathudippukal, a heartfelt programme conducted commemorating the 35th year of Vidyodaya’s inception. It was dedicated to honouring the retired teaching and non teaching who had been a part of the school’s glorious journey. The event was a celebration of gratitude, respect and fond memories shared with those who had devoted their lives to shaping generations of Vidyodayans.
The event was presided by Justice Shri P K Shamsuddin, our patron.
The ceremony began with a solemn prayer followed by words of welcome, setting the tone for an evening of reflection and thanksgiving. Former educators were felicitated with mementoes as a token of love and appreciation. Each of them was warmly remembered for their invaluable service, guidance, and the indelible mark they left on the institution.
Speeches by present faculty, alumni and students highlighted the lasting influence of the honoured guests. Many touching anecdotes and recollections were shared, bringing back memories of classrooms, corridors and the unique spirit that has defined Vidyodaya through the decades.
The programme was further enriched with cultural performances, including songs and dance, presented as a tribute to the mentors who had once been the guiding force behind the school community.
Ormathudippukal truly lived up to its name—rekindling cherished memories and strengthening the bond between the past and present of Vidyodaya School. The event concluded with a note of gratitude, leaving everyone with a sense of pride, nostalgia and renewed inspiration.
22.The visit to the Biotechnology Department, CUSAT, was a rich and memorable learning experience for the Class VIII students of Vidyodaya School. It successfully broadened their horizons and motivated them to look at diverse career paths in science.
