Orientation Programme

Vidyodaya School hosted a five-day Teachers’ Orientation Programme aimed at professional development and reflective teaching practices. The event was presided over by the Chairman of the school, Col. E. V. Krishnan.
The programme was officially inaugurated by Dr. Latha J., Vice Chancellor of Jain University. In her inaugural address, Dr. Latha emphasised the importance of empathy in teaching. “Teachers must not only educate but also understand their students deeply. Empathy and personal connection are key to effective learning,” she stated, inspiring the gathering with her words.

A highlight of the orientation was the presentation of 16 research and pedagogical papers, all authored and presented by the Vidyodaya teachers themselves. These sessions fostered a collaborative atmosphere where educators shared insights, teaching strategies, and innovative practices from their classrooms.
The keynote address was delivered by Executive Trustee Dr. P Sreekumar. Felicitations by Vice Chairman Major MGC Nair, Treasurer Mr Anil Kumar and Principal Ms Geetha Rajeev followed.
The event proved to be a platform for academic exchange, self-improvement, and renewed commitment to student-centered education. The school management lauded the efforts of all participants and organisers for making the programme a grand success
