Club Activities

Along with academics, Vidyodaya gives due weightage and importance to specialization in areas of Music, Dance, Dramatics, Yoga, Art & Craft, Martial arts like Kalari, Karate, Taekwondo and Judo. The numerous activities in an academic year provide ample opportunities for Vidyodayans to augment their lateral learning.
Various Clubs
1. Literary Club
The students actively participate in literary and creative skills at school. This skill includes those activities where students get a chance to learn and exhibit his potential when it comes to ,Declamation, Creative Writing, Recitation, Poster Making, Slogan Writing etc. After acquiring the skill the student is ready to participate in various inter and intra school competitions.
2. The Science Club
The students take keen interest in scientific activities and take the initiative to plan, organize and evaluate various science related events.
3. Dramatics Club
Students develop histrionic skills through improvisation, theatre game and other theatre activities. Children will learn to write scripts, direction,prop making, enacting and also co-ordinate
4. Quiz Club
The aim of this club is to instil a thirst for knowledge on various subjects and to equip them for their challenges in the future.
5. Agriculture Club
In this club, students learn the value of nature, how dependant they are on nature. They are taught different techniques of farming and prompted to build vegetable garden in their homes.
6. Art and Craft Club
The students learn to think and act as artists, makers and designers, working creatively and intelligently
7. Environment Club
Students are given an awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, preservation, and restoration of the environment around us.
8. Maths Club
This club helps the students to hone their logical skills and reasoning abilities equipping them for the competitive exams.
9. Space Club
Students are updated on various developments in space technology,its applications and future career prospects.
10. Social Service Club
This club develops students through active participation through thoughtfully organized service that meets the needs of communities.
11. Debate Club
The students are trained to develop essential critical thinking skills – the ability to make reasoned and well thought out arguments
12. WOW(Wellbeing out of waste)
This club is a recycling initiative that works forward spreading awareness about recycling and encouraging students to segregate and dispose waste responsibly.
13. Health and Wellness Club
The main aim of this Club is to make the students aware of their health hygiene of self and their surroundings. This would also help us to utilise the maximum energy of the adolescent for creativity, discovery and exploration of the best in the world.
13.The Cyber Security Club
Cyber Security Club aims to develop students’ skills in cyber security by conducting training programs for students to prepare them to develop different attractive Cyber Security projects. To improve analytical ability of the students, the club will arrange training programs and workshops.
14.The Anti Drug Abuse Club
The aims of anti drug abuse club are To spread awareness to ensure a drug/ substance free campus. To engage the students in anti- drug activities Motivate students to become volunteers of anti-drug activities in their life.

Evolution of Vidyodya Nursery

Vidyodaya Nursery commenced functioning along with the school in 1990 and has shared the growth with the parent institution. When the school was shifted to Thevakkal, the Nursery was bifurcated between the Kaloor building and the main campus.
